Dean began creating rolling ball sculptures mid 2019 from hometown inspiration at the OKC Science Museum and various videos online. While early sculptures were rough and fragile Dean continued building while taking breaks from the medium occasionally. He started selling art work in 2022 in Arts Festivals and galleries such as Studio Six on Paseo and in local shops like Literati Bookstore. However the most success was found selling online through Etsy.

“I have been growing in skill and scale to doing larger work recently and have moved into a larger work space to be able expand. I have to thank my Dad for helping me from the beginning to get my work out there and to Sue at Studio Six for giving me a chance early on, and Jackie at Absolute Development for continuing to work with me and giving me so many opportunities.”
